About Hope Centers

About Us

Our organization began working with orphans and widows in East Central Africa in 2004-05.  We currently have ministry locations in Bogoro, DR Congo and Luweero District, Uganda.

Through education, micro grants, and self-sustaining projects, we strive to improve the lives of persons involved in this partnership.  Our mission at HCCA is to break the cycle of poverty through proven methods and combat against dependency.

HCCA was officially recognized by the federal government in 2009 as a registered and approved 501c3 organization.  In 2013 we underwent a review conducted by Charities Review Council.  We met their standard and were placed on their list of approved non-profit organizations in 2014.

Our Mission and Faith statements as found in our constitution and bylaws state:

Article III - Purpose

The purpose of Hope Centers for Children of Africa shall be to come to the aid of orphaned children in Africa.  This will be accomplished through the establishment of Hope Centers in areas of need.  Each Hope Center shall give special focus to orphans and those who assist in the care of orphans.

Article II - Confession of Faith

Hope Centers for Children of Africa accepts and submits to the Bible as the revealed and infallible Word of God.  We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior and Lord who is “the way and the truth and the life”(NIV John 14:6), and that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven, given by men, by which we must be saved.” (NIV Acts 4:12).
