Thank you for checking out HCCA! We are excited to share with you our ministry to orphans and widows.
At Hope Centers for Children of Africa (HCCA) our mission is to "come to the aid of orphans and those who care for them." The African culture finds it unacceptable to leave orphans on the streets eve if they themselves have difficulty in putting food on the table.
Our goal at HCCA is to provide;
- proper health care
- safe water
- quality education, both formal and technical training
- a safe environment in which to live
- a means of self-sustainability through farming, animal husbandry and micro grants
We strive to break the cycle of poverty and to assist children in becoming responsible and God-fearing young adults.
Our ministry began in Bunia, Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2004-2005. The Bunia Children’s Hope Center grew to over 100 employees caring for 700 orphans and over 200 widows. This ministry reached self-sustainability in 2014 through farming and other projects.
Since then we began two new ministry locations. In 2014 we established a ministry in Luweero District in Uganda. In 2015 we established a ministry in the Bogoro region of DR Congo which is located in the Blue Mountains.
Please consider joining us in breaking the cycle of poverty for orphans, one child, one family at a time.
